Onam Celebrations

Hope everybody who attended Onam Celebrations on Aug. 26, 2007 enjoyed the program. Generally the feedback was good. From the reaction of the audience it was clear that everybody had a good time.A lot of people worked hard to make the program successful. These include participants, volunteers and people who were requested to help on the program day itself. Mississauga Kerala Association wants to thank each of you for your hard work and participation. Toronto Harbor Cruise

Toronto Harbor Cruise is at 5pm on Saturday Sept. 29. Twenty more seats can be accommodated and the count needs to be finalized this coming week. If anybody would like to join the Cruise, please contact:

Minister Vayalar Ravi is visiting Toronto

Indian Consulate has informed us that Minister Vayalar Ravi is visiting Toronto on 27th and 28th of September. He would like to meet with the Malayalee Community at 4pm on Friday 28th September. We are looking for a venue for the meeting so that all the Malayalees including members of Toronto, Mississauga and Hamilton associations and CMA can meet the minister. Details are being finalized and will be communicated as soon as it is available. Please pass the word around so that we get a good audience.

Kerala Piravi Celebration

Toronto Malayalee Samajam, Hamilton Malayalee Samajam and Mississauga Kerala Association will be celebrating Kerala Piravi at 6pm (to 11pm) on October 27, 2007 at Michael Power/St. Joseph High School,105 Eringate Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario M9C 3Z7. Ticket rates are: adults 18 and over: $10.00, under 18: $5.00. Dinner will be provided for the ticket holders. It is a joint celebration among the three associations. Please plan to attend and bring your friends along to celebrate Kerala's birthday.
