Christmas Celebration
Mississauga Kerala Association successfully celebrated Christmas on Saturday Nov. 28, 2009 evening at the Older Adult Centre in the Square One shopping mall, Mississauga. Over 200 people participated in the event. Artwork from the Children's Festival held on Nov. 14 was displayed inside the hall. Winners of the painting competition were presented with certificates signed by Ms. Bonnie Crombie MP from Mississauga-Streesville during this program.
The Association thanks all the performers and all the people who helped to make this event a successful one.
Variety Entertainment
The next program being planned is a variety entertainment evening for Saturday February 27, 2010 . The program will include dinner, dances from talented dance groups, Songs by top singers and a short play performed by MKA group. The program will be at the Port Credit Secondary School, 70 Mineola Road East, Mississauga, ON L5G 2E5. The ticket rates and further details will be published later. Please mark your calendar for this event.
Friday Evening at the Gymnasium
The Gymnasium at the Edenrose Elementary school will not be available for our use for the next two weeks. The next availability is for Friday January 8, 2010. At present a few of our members are using it for Badminton. Its use is for our members and is free of charge . The school is located at 1342 Edenrose St., Mississauga, L5V1K9. The time slot allocated for our use of the Gymnasium is from 8 pm to 10 pm.
